Enrollment
Dropping & Withdrawing
From Classes
Important: To
drop or withdraw from classes on your study list, you must
be in the Enrollment function. If you click on Study List
in
the
Courses & Grade
menu, you will not see the Drop Classes link
at the top of your study list as shown in Step 1 below.
You
cannot drop a class if it will put you below the mininum
number of units for your academic career. If you wish to
swap a class, first add the class you want, then drop
the class you do not want.
After
the drop deadline has passed (see deadlines at left), dropping
a class results in a W (Withdrew) grade. The class is not
removed from your study list. Step
1: Click the Drop Classes link
Step
2: Select classes to drop, then click Submit

Use
the checkboxes to indicate which classes to drop. "Pending"
means no action has been taken for the class; the class will
not be dropped if you do not check the box.
Step 3: View results
The
Drop Status column shows the result of each of your requests:
Success: The
class has been dropped from your study list. If you see
"Success / Messages," click on it to read the message.
Errors
found: The class has not been dropped. Click on the error
link to read the error message.
Pending: No
action was taken for this class. It was not be dropped and
will not be dropped unless you return to Step 2 and check
the box..
