Dissertation and Thesis Submission
New Electronic Dissertation & Thesis Submission Beginning November 9, 2009, the Registrar’s Office in conjunction with the Stanford University Library is offering students the option to submit their dissertation/thesis in electronic format. This new electronic submission process is free of charge to students and allows them the ability to log into Axess and check their pre-submission requirements in the eDissertation/eThesis Center under the academics tab. Once these requirements have been met the student will proceed to the Stanford University Library site where they can upload a soft copy of their dissertation/thesis. This means that PhD, JSD, DMA, and ENG students now have the option to submit their dissertation/thesis either online in electronic pdf format OR continue to submit the hard copies via an appointment with the Registrar’s Office. Please note that the electronic submission process is not yet available for Masters Theses or Undergraduate Honors Theses. Please read both sets of directions carefully before you make your decision on how you wish to submit your dissertation/thesis.
