Coterminal Degree Programs

Main content start

The coterminal degree program allows you to simultaneously pursue a master's degree while completing your bachelor's degree(s) in the same or a different department.

To apply for admission to a coterminal master’s degree program, you must complete 120 undergraduate units and have a strong academic record. You must apply no later than the quarter prior to the expected completion of your undergraduate degree. Full-time enrollment during Summer Quarters, as well as allowable undergraduate transfer credit, are counted towards quarters of undergraduate study. If you wish to apply for a master's program after these deadlines, you must apply through the regular graduate admissions process.

Visit the Coterminal Degree Program links in the left menu for requirements and procedures. See the Student Policies: Coterminal Bachelor's and Master's Degrees for additional details.
