Important Information Regarding COVID-19

For quickest response to an issue, please submit a ServiceNow Ticket to the Student Services Center. If you prefer to talk to an SSC Specialist, we offer advising sessions via Zoom by appointment. Our LiveChat option is temporarily unavailable so that the SSC can focus on answering the very large volume of Autumn Quarter tickets.

Coffee With Your Colleagues

Welcome to the Coffee With Your Colleagues web page!

Coffee With Your Colleagues is a training and collaboration initiative developed by the Registrar's Office to provide regular training opportunities for department staff across the University. We offer both presentation-based sessions and open labs. Presentation topics are collected from surveys completed by department student services staff, as well as metrics collected by the Registrar's Office from inquiries received. The presentation sessions are generally scheduled so that topics are covered at the most relevent times of the academic year.

Presentations are offered by the following Student and Academic Services Teams: Courses and Event Scheduling, Degree Progress, Student Academic Records, Student Financial Services, and the Student Services Center.

The Coffee With Your Colleagues team does not present during the open labs, but is available for questions and discussions about best practices, general understanding of processes, and policy interpretation and implementation.

Our Goals

  • Collaborate with department administrators in open forum

  • Provide in-depth and current information about policies and procedures

  • Offer regular training opportunities

  • Improve student and staff resources

  • Streamline procedures vis-a-vis department feedback

  • Enjoy coffee and treats!
