Adding and Removing Instructors

How to Add an Instructor to a Class that Does Not Have an Instructor

  1. Click on the blue pencil in the "Instructor" field to open the "Instructor" window.

  2. If the class does not have an instructor, the window will show "Staff". Click the down arrow on the "Staff" box. Start typing the last name of the instructor you want to add, and then select the name when you see it.

  3.  Click the Accept button.

  4. If the instructor is not showing, you must first add them to the Instructor/Advisor Table in Peoplesoft before you will be able to select them in the CPS.


How to Add an Additional Instructor to a Class

  1. Click on the blue pencil in the "Instructor" field to open the "Instructor" window.

  2. Click on the green plus sign to add an instructor. If you are changing an instructor, add the new instructor first and then remove the old instructor afterwards.

  3. Click on the down arrow, start typing the last name of the instructor you want to add, and then select the name when you see it.

  4. Click the Accept button.


How to Remove an Instructor from a Class

  1. Click on the blue pencil in the "Instructor" field to open the "Instructor" window.

  2. Click on the trash can beside the name of instructor you wish to remove.

How to Remove All Instructors from a Class

  1. Click on the blue pencil in the "Instructor" field to open the "Instructor" window.

  2. Click on the green plus sign to add a new line in order to keep it as Staff.

  3. Now, click on the trash can beside each of the instructor names you wish to remove.

    Make sure to first add a staff row, then remove each of the intructors.
     

  4. Click the Accept button.
