The former practice of “unit shaving” or unit adjustment is no longer available. Courses are offered for the number of units that are listed in the Time Schedule. A course that is listed in the Time Schedule as being offered for five units can only be taken for five units. Courses offered for a range of units (e.g., three, four, or five units) can be taken for the number of units chosen by the student.
