Students may add courses or units (if variable unit course) to their study lists through the end of the third week of classes. Courses or units (if variable unit course) may be dropped by students up until the Final Study List Deadline without any record of the course remaining on the student's transcript. Courses may be swapped up until this deadline. No drops are permitted after this point. Last day for tuition reassessment for dropped courses or units.
Graduate students note:
The Final Study List (FSL) deadline may fall after the Graduate bill due date. You are responsible to pay the tuition level billed and due on the bill due date regardless of your intent to reduce enrollment after the bill due date and prior to the FSL deadline. (Example, a grad student who is ‘shopping’ for classes enrolls in 18 units and is charged tuition of $16,329. S/he drops to 10 units after the bill due date and before the FSL deadline and the tuition charge reduces to $10,620. The $16,329 was due on the bill due date.) Late fees may apply if sufficient payment is not made by the bill due date.
